TROLIC 5 mg belongs to a group of medicines called corticosteroids.
TROLIC 5 mg is used in a wide range of inflammatory and autoimmune conditions, including:

2. What You Need to Know Before You Take TROLIC 5 mg
Do Not Take TROLIC 5 mg
Do not take TROLIC 5 mg if any of the following apply:

Acute Adrenal Insufficiency Warning
Suddenly stopping, increasing or reducing the dose of TROLIC 5 mg may cause acute adrenal insufficiency.
Possible symptoms include:

Avoid eating liquorice while taking TROLIC 5 mg.
Pregnancy, Breastfeeding and Fertility
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, consult your doctor, pharmacist or other healthcare provider before taking this medicine.
You should avoid taking TROLIC 5 mg if you are breastfeeding, as the medicine passes into breast milk and may harm your baby.
Driving and Using Machines
If you feel dizzy or tired after taking TROLIC 5 mg, do not drive or operate machinery until these effects have worn off.
3. How to Take TROLIC 5 mg
Do not share medicines prescribed for you with any other person.
Always take TROLIC 5 mg exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has instructed you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.

If You Take More TROLIC 5 mg Than You Should

Treatment requires supportive medical care.
If You Forget to Take TROLIC 5 mg
It is important to take your tablets regularly as prescribed.
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is time for your next dose.
Do not take a double dose to make up for forgotten individual doses.
If You Stop Taking TROLIC 5 mg
Treatment with TROLIC 5 mg should not be stopped suddenly in patients who have been taking high doses.

5. How to Store TROLIC 5 mg
Store at or below 25 °C in a cool, dry place.
Protect from light and moisture.

Do not store in a bathroom.
