It should still be used carefully to obtain the best results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Keep the leaflet information for future reference. Do not share CORENZA-C with another person. Ask a healthcare provider or pharmacist if more information or advice is needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A doctor should be consulted if symptoms worsen or do not improve after 10 days<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n CORENZA-C belongs to the group of medicines used for the common cold, including nasal decongestants and antihistamines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n CORENZA-C provides relief from symptoms of colds and flu, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Do not take CORENZA-C if any of the following apply:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Special care is needed with CORENZA-C in several situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A doctor should be consulted before giving CORENZA-C to children or teenagers with chickenpox or influenza, due to the risk of Reye\u2019s syndrome associated with aspirin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Caution is also needed if you have:<\/p>\n\n\n\n CORENZA-C should be stopped several days before scheduled surgery, because aspirin can increase bleeding time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Chronic use of aspirin in elderly patients should be avoided because of the increased risk of gastric bleeding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If gastrointestinal bleeding or ulceration occurs, treatment with CORENZA-C should be stopped. Warning signs may include stomach pain, discomfort, vomiting blood, or passing dark stools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Drug Reaction with Eosinophilia and Systemic Symptoms, also called DRESS<\/strong>, has been reported in patients taking NSAIDs such as CORENZA-C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This reaction may affect the skin, blood, and internal organs. It may be life-threatening or fatal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Possible signs include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n If signs or symptoms of DRESS occur, stop taking CORENZA-C and see a doctor immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Tell your doctor or healthcare provider if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Taking NSAIDs such as aspirin in CORENZA-C at around 20 weeks of pregnancy or later<\/strong> may harm the unborn baby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If NSAID treatment is needed for more than two days between 20 and 30 weeks of pregnancy<\/strong>, a healthcare provider may need to monitor the amount of fluid around the baby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n CORENZA-C should not be taken at around 30 weeks of pregnancy or later<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Always tell your healthcare provider if you are taking any other medicine, including complementary or traditional medicines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Tell your doctor if you are taking any of the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Vitamin C in CORENZA-C may interfere with laboratory tests and may cause falsely elevated or false negative results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n CORENZA-C should be taken with food to reduce stomach irritation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n CORENZA-C should not be taken with alcohol, because alcohol may increase side effects and make you feel drowsy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor, pharmacist, or healthcare provider for advice before taking CORENZA-C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n NSAIDs such as aspirin may harm the unborn baby when used at around 20 weeks of pregnancy or later. CORENZA-C should not be used around 30 weeks of pregnancy or later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n CORENZA-C may cause drowsiness and impaired concentration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n These effects may be made worse by alcohol or other medicines that depress the central nervous system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Patients should avoid driving, using machines, or performing tasks requiring alertness until they know how CORENZA-C affects them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Each effervescent tablet contains 288,11 mg sodium<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This is equivalent to 14,4 %<\/strong> of the recommended maximum daily dietary intake of sodium for an adult.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Do not share medicines prescribed for you with another person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Always take CORENZA-C exactly as described in the leaflet or as directed by a doctor, pharmacist, or nurse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Drop the tablet into half a glass of cold water. The tablet dissolves quickly and produces an effervescent drink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Drink the mixture as soon as the effervescing has stopped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Use the lowest effective dose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Do not use CORENZA-C for more than 10 days<\/strong> without consulting a doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Possible overdose symptoms may include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the event of overdose, consult a doctor or pharmacist.
